The cases are constructed of a rugged, corrosion-resistant phenolic material. The solid front, safety case design with a blow-out back insulates the gauge face from the pressure measuring system and assures operator protection with safety glass lenses. Bourdon tubes and connections are made of all 316 stainless steel. This type of gauge provides high accuracy compared to other types of gauges.
